Maggie Charbonnet
Junior Representative, North

Maggie began taking Dressage lessons the summer of 2004, just before she began 5th grade, under then high school senior Sarah Mason of Danville, CA.  By the winter of 2004 she was working with coach Nadine Pestana of Livermore, whom she continues to train with weekly.  Maggie’s first horse, Fuerst Glori, was purchased as a barely broken 4 year old in  June 2005.

In 4 short years Maggie achieved her USDF Bronze Medal with Glori.  That same year Glori placed first nationally in her breed rankings (ISR Oldenburg N.A.) for both Open 3rd Level and JR/YR 3rd Level.

Maggie now owns a second Oldenburg, a 7 year old gelding Sipriano by Stedinger, who was purchased in Germany in the early spring of 2008.  Maggie will be competing Sipriano as a declared NAJYR hoping to compete with the Region 7 Team in Lexington, KY this summer.

In addition to her hours at the barn, Maggie holds a 4.0 GPA through the Independent High School program at Venture School in the San Ramon Valley Unified District.  She has a wickedly funny sense of humor, is trying to figure out where she wants to apply to college and how she can continue her equestrian training beyond the high school years.

Maggie’s contact information is:  (925) 548-7221 or through email at mtcharbonnet@aim.com or she can be contacted via FaceBook.

 Delaney Seeburger
Junior Representative, South

My name is Delaney Seeburger. I have been riding horses for about nine years, though I’ve only ridden dressage the past four. Currently, I ride my half-Arab mare, Gracie, at Second Level. In the future, I hope to ride at higher levels, but I am content with polishing my riding at a lower level at the present.

In addition to riding, I also swim competitively and play piano. I am 15 years old, and a home-schooler in the 10th grade. Next year, I am planning on taking a few courses at the local community college. When I’m not doing any of the above activities, I like to read, work on an art project, or draw horses. I would like to help increase junior participation in CDS events, such as the Junior Championships.

You can reach me at  or renoboya@verizon.net.

Olivia Jones

Hi, my name is Olivia Jones. I have been riding since age four and competing in dressage since age eleven. I ride with Tiffany Kell Briton and have participated in the Pomona Chapter Dressage Divas since the beginning. My horse, Marvin Gray, and I are currently schooling third level and are hoping to go to championships again this year.

I am eighteen and attending University of California, Riverside. When not riding I am playing soccer, shopping, studying, and spending time with my friends and family. When I graduate I hope to own my own event planning business, specializing in weddings. I am thrilled to be a part of the CDS advisory board for the first time this year!
